In the late 1950s, on the quiet northern coast of France, a sculptor named Diane Lemoine began experimenting with forms that blurred the line between furniture and sculpture. She worked in a converted boat workshop in Honfleur, where the sea air softened the edges of her plaster molds and inspired her fascination with curvature — forms that seemed to breathe.
Her goal was to create a "sofa without a corner," a gesture of comfort drawn from the human body rather than geometry. The result was a single, continuous sweep of form — backrest and armrest merging like a single brushstroke. The original prototype, made from gypsum and wool felt, was said to have taken three weeks to shape by hand.
When Rove rediscovered Diane's unpublished sketches decades later, the design was reborn as the Diane Sofa — an object that feels carved, not constructed. Each curve is mapped to the natural arc of rest; each seam follows the quiet discipline of French atelier craftsmanship.

We will see how everything holds up over time as I just received them. My order was quite large; I ordered the Hunter Bed, Hunter Nightstands, Liza Coffee Table, Norman Counter Stools, and Dresden Modular Sectional. I experienced really long delays in shipping/receiving my products. Ordered Since July and received everything but 1 item in November. I imagine this is mostly due to covid slowing down their inventory though. The side table for the Dresden sectional I received arrived damaged (broken drawer mechanism, and cracked wood), I have already reached out to them hoping for a replacement on this soon. Also there is a dent/blemish on the corner of the frame for the Hunter Bed, likely caused from shipping damage, but is relatively small. The concierge service has already been fast to respond and copy me in emails when ever I contacted them.
